Over the past 27 years, VOENA has helped hundreds of young women discover their voices. From the smallest Hummingbirds (ages 3-5) to our CREAVO seasoned performers, VOENA teaches not only vocal techniques and rhythm but also teamwork, confidence, leadership and compassion.
With a mission to unite the world through music, VOENA has traveled the globe as goodwill ambassadors, performing in Bali, Indonesia, at the London Summer Olympics, the International Soweto Festival in South Africa, the World Expo in Japan, and in the United Arab Emirates, among others. One of our greatest honors as a choir was when VOENA performed for one of the most revered female poets in history, Maya Angelou at the White House.
